Really nice hotel for a really good price. Good view over the ocean, directly on the beach. Perfect location to reach everything else worth mentioning on the Island. Very friendly staff. Breakfast..rather poor.

Where to even start? Mam Kaibae is one of the best hotels that I’ve been at. Not because the rooms are fancy, the breakfast is good or the quality - quite the opposite. It’s such a nice, family oriented and kind hotel with the best staff, really good views, perfect area and flexibility as I’ve never seen before. All rooms have a view over the ocean and most can see the sunset every night. They have a pool at the 4th floor that gives you a magic view in all directions. The beach is literally in front of the hotel and when the tide is high the ocean tries to walk up the stairs. The beach is really well kept, there is no trash and very few stones. Really nice! The only downside is the breakfast. I’m not really a breakfast person so I’m not bothers but the breakfast isn’t very good. They have basic bread, jam, fruits, cereal, milk, coffee/tea, egg and loads of thai courses such as rice/fried rice/chicken stew/stir fried chicken and so on.
